MONTANA FALL MOUNTAIN GROUSE HUNTS

The first part of the season will be better.  The bag limit is three birds in aggregate daily.  Possession limit is four times the daily bag limit.  We have three species of grouse here:  Blue, Ruffed, and Franklin’s Grouse.  We hunt from horseback, foot and 4X4.  There are a number of options to do during this time.  Some fellows will turn this into a “cast and blast” and go fishing in the afternoons.  Some will want to hunt the birds all day long.  The cost of the trip is $200.00 per day based on double occupancy.  A shuttle from Spokane, Washington can be arranged for an additional fee.  Also if you have a bird dog or two that you would like to bring along, this is fine with us.  The birds are not particularly wary and all the birds you’d want to take can be done without a dog although they do make it more fun.  There are all sorts of options with this hunt.  Give us a call and we will talk it over.
